UTI solutions give green light to Deva to become a smart city

UTI Grup has designed and implemented a modern adaptive traffic management system for the municipality of Deva that is meant to reduce the time spent in traffic and at traffic lights, to ease the traffic and to help protect the environment by reducing pollution.

This solution is part of the larger smart city concept that fulfills the needs of towns that need to find solutions to improve the quality of life of their citizens, while remaining economically competitive. UTI Grup gathers experience, the latest technologies and equipment to offer municipalities the best tools to manage the daily challenges of a modern town: traffic and public transportation management, parking management, video surveillance, public information, underground communications, smart grid.

Also, in its endeavor to become a smart city, Deva will soon benefit of a video surveillance system implemented on the main roads, as well as in the critical area. UTI will finalize this system in September.

UTI Grup implemented complex traffic management systems in Romania (Bucharest, Craiova, Iasi, Zalau, Baia Mare, Brasov, Arad, Ploiesti, Medias), as well as in Poland (Szczecin and Kalisz).
