UTI Retail Solutions presented its latest developments at RetailTech 2005
On June 1st and 2nd 2005, UTI Retail Solutions participated in RetailTech, an exhibition that brought together the leading manufacturers and suppliers of retail and wholesale equipment and services at the Budapest Arena. This event aims at offering solutions for the increasing demand of technology for the retail sector which now sees an unprecedented growth in the Central and Eastern Europe.
UTI Retail Solutions presented the latest security systems for retail areas:
- Metalguard – metal plate detection system
- Ultra Lane Acusto-Magnetic Seonsormatic System – the latest development of Tyco
- Ultra Link – EAS alarm management solution
- KPOS – interfacing cash registers with the video system
On June 2, Ms. Simona Dinca, Managing Director of UTI Retail Solutions, delivered a presentation as part of the conference program whose topic was: “Integrated Security Systems for Retail Areas”. The presence of the only Romanian company was appreciated by Romanian and foreign visitors, as well as by other participants. Among others, it is worth mentioning the following guests that visited our stand: Mr. Uwe Roessler, President SELGROS Romania, Mr. Vlad Cristea and Mr. Sorin Poenaru of METRO Cash&Carry Romania, Mr. Paul Pop, CEO Rompetrol. We can consider that UTI Retail Solutions participation in this event was a succes by adding new potential customers.
