UTI – member of Liberty Alliance Project

UTI Systems Inc. became member of Liberty Alliance Project, an international consortium, made up of almost 200 organisations, whose purpose is to define a set of global standards regarding the management and federalisation of the users’ electronic identity.

Electronic identity management represents a challenge and a major preoccupation of the information community, both from a technical, system interoperability and security viewpoint, and from the perspective of the grounds related to the organisation policy and to users’ personal data protection. UTI got involved in this field, creating gateSAFE, a management identity product.

The interoperability and standardisation of the solutions developed by UTI are two basic characteristics; for this purpose, we initiated collaborations and partnerships with distinguished organisations (EEMA, Liberty Alliance, RSA, Microsoft), participation at international interoperability tests and close collaboration with the academic environment.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
