UTI launched two new security projects for Metro in Galati and Craiova

UTI’s collaboration with Metro Cash & Carry began in 1996, our company securing all the 26 stores opened by the German retailer in Romania.

In May this year, UTI launched a new security project for Metro Galați and Metro Craiova, consisting in the modernization of the video surveillance cameras installed in these locations, in order to respond more efficiently to their needs of protecting the goods from these two cash & carry facilities. Also, the collaboration with Metro entails the provision by the beneficiary of state-of-the-art Sony cameras – the total number of pieces delivered being over 1000.

Analyzing the Romanian retail market, UTI specialists are of the opinion that there is a stagnation of crime rates, while losses due to theft are under control. This is also due to the fact that retailers have understood the importance of an integrated security concept, covering a large part of the risks they face.
