UTI equips the first multi-storey car park in Bucharest

The first underground multi-storey car park in Romania, Unirea Parking, was inaugurated on Wednesday, May 25th 2005. The car park has 920 parking places, located at the seven storeys and on the terrace.

The access is performed by means of the barrier and accounting systems installed by UTI. The systems are also used for the first time in Romania. The access in and out is made on the two towers equipped with access ramps. The parking is monitored by the video system installed by UTI, which also accomplished the sound and intercommunication systems, as well as the fire detection and alarm system.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
