Astral Telecom Inc. started boardcasting U Televiziune Interactiva

New Trend Media, part of UTI GROUP, announces that the cable company Astral Telecom Inc. started broadcasting the music channel U TELEVIZIUNE INTERACTIVA.

The new music channel U Televiziune Interactiva, that started broadcasting on April, 9, 2005 and was initially taken over by the RCS cable company, will be available by means of the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) system, provided by Astral Telecom in Bucharest and by means of the analogical system – the extrabasic Astral Plus package in Alba Iulia, Bistritza, Iasi, Bacau, Zalau, Tulcea, Constantza, Braila and Mangalia.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
