UTI was one of the main exhibitors at Expo Security 2005

The eighth edition of Expo Security – International Exhibition of Security Systems, Alarms, and Fire and Disaster Protection – took place at Romexpo between April 20-24, 2005.

UTI Group was represented by its specialised companies: UTI Systems Inc., UTI Retail Solutions Ltd. and Firex Engineering Ltd. in stall no. 110-113 of Hall no. 2.

UTI Systems presented as a premiere a new Network Centric Management Concept, an element of absolute novelty both in Romania and worldwide. The concept integrates all security systems (perimeter detection, intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, fire detection, personnel alarm, vehicle location and monitoring etc.), ensuring the administration, control and command of a wide range of equipment and offering a bird’s eye view of site security and operation. Concept components were designed and are entirely produced by UTI Systems.

The novelty elements are represented by three software applications: KSecurity Master, KUtilities Master and KTraffic Master, developed by the R&D Department of the Security Systems and Services Division of UTI Systems, and five hardware products: KGuard, KControl, PLC, KTrack and KParking.

The concept is based upon an open architecture that allows its use within systems with a wide range of equipment types.

The components of Network Centric Management Concept are the result of a sustainable investment in the field of research and development, which guarantees UTI Systems the leader postition on the complex security systems market. It is for the first time that a complete range of security products manufactured by a Romanian company is presented in Romania.

In the field of retail areas security, UTI Retail Solutions presented:

  • Three technologies of anti-theft systems (acustomagnetic, electromagnetic, and radio)
  • Video surveillance
  • Pneumatic mail
  • Wire protection
  • Safes

 

UTI Retail Solutions has proposed three new elements this year:

  • Ultra Lane Acusto Magnetic Sensormatic System – an anti-theft system specially designed for supermarkets and hypermarkets that is able to detect anti-theft labels in metallic trolleys.
  • UltraLink – Alarm Management Solution, the alarm being generated by the anti-theft system
  • MetalGuard – Metal plate detection system with a powerful theft prevention effect by detecting clothes and bags lined with aluminium plate.

 

Firex Engineering presented:

  • Fire extiction systems based on INERGEN, FM 200, HFC 227ea, Argonite, sprinkled water
  • Sprinklers
  • Hot gas and fume evacuation systems
  • Fire extinction systems for kitchens by local flooding R 102
  • Vessel fire extinction
  • Intumescent paints and antifire stoppers
