Preliminary Reunion of the World Conference for Telecommunications Development
The Preliminary Reunion of the World Conference for Telecommunications Development takes place between April 18 and 20, 2005 at the Parliament Palace. The event is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology under the aegis of ITU-D.
The objective of the reunion is to lay down the premises for the development, expansion, and efficient organization of IT&C services, as well as for creating a better image of Romania. The following guests of honour come on behalf of ITU (ONU specialized organism that coordinates telecommunications services on a global scale): Mr. Yoshio Utsumi – General Secretary and Mr. Hamadoun Toure – Director of Telecommunications Development Bureau.
The first day schedules the conference Local Development of Information Society Services – Business Opportunities in which UTI Systems, represented by its Division of Information Technology and Communications, will participate with a presentation in the section “Information Society. Institutional Performance and Citizen Comfort Growth. Electronic Signature and Digital Document.”
